Sales Tax
Sales Taxes charged to your credit card will reflect the actual
state sales tax for the state of Nevada (6.5%). Sales tax is
added automatically at checkout and is assessed on orders shipped
within the state of Nevada. Orders shipped outside of Nevada
will not be assessed a sales tax.
At this time, most e-commerce companies use the taxation rules as applied by
mail-order companies which require companies to collect sales tax in states where
their business operates. As a result The Sunrise Group LLC will collect sales
taxes only on merchandise shipped within the state of Nevada.
The Internet Tax Freedom Act (IFTA) does not allow state and local governments
to impose taxes on internet access charges and protects against the imposition
of new tax liability for consumers and vendors involved in commercial transaction
over the internet.
